Aims

The Centre is committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone is valued and cultural diversity is celebrated.

We therefore aim to:-

Encourage all children and parents/carers and the wider community to experience opportunities which will enhance their well being and enable them to develop positive self-esteem, as they become well motivated and independent life long learners.

Provide a broad and balanced holistic curriculum, which meets the needs of the individual and good practice based on research within the Early Years Foundation Stage where child centred play is used to develop their unique personality and interest in learning.

Provide a safe, secure, creative, innovative and inspiring environment.

Provide activities which will reach out to, enrich and embrace the wider community.

Work with multi professional teams and promote an integrated team approach to early intervention.

Provide an inclusive environment and a cohesive community where everyone is valued irrespective of race, religion, culture, gender, background, ability or age.

Develop a team where all staff have high expectations of the child, are valued, committed and motivated with opportunities for both personal and professional development.

Develop a listening culture whereby children and adults are heard and respected.

Promote a healthy lifestyle for children and encourage parents /carers and extended family members to recognise the benefits.
