Keeping Up with the Children

In “Keeping up with the Children” classes we encourage parents and carers to participate actively in their child’s early learning. Parents have opportunities to make resources and engage with practitioners in dialogue and discussion on how children learn through their spontaneous play.

It is also a forum for them to get to know each other and develop meaningful friendships. Parents are invited to participate in the classes involving themselves in activities their children experience in the nursery so they can support them at home and have a deeper insight into children’s learning outcomes.

Help is given to reading and filling in application forms and applying for jobs.

Keeping Up with the Children can be a route for progression into accreditation and further learning.
