Listening Stories

Every child has their own inter­ests the staff cap­ture these through lis­ten­ing to the chil­dren and obser­va­tion. To cap­ture these spe­cial moments we write lis­ten­ing sto­ries which are included as part of the children’s portfolio’s to enable the chil­dren to recall and share with parents.

Staff use lis­ten­ing sto­ries to fur­ther develop these inter­ests through plan­ning and project work.
