Listening to Children Projects

Practitioners work closely with young children, listening to them, developing their interests and scaffolding their learning through collaborative project work. Both adult and child are encouraged to be active participants.

Children’s work is carefully documented. This carefully supports young children’s learning and helps adults understand the way in which they learn. Project work has become a very valuable process for the professional growth of practitioners.

Below is a list of some of the Listening to Children Projects compiled at the Centre;

  • Caterpillars
  • Clay
  • Golf
  • Home Corner
  • Light
  • Living Room
  • Mini Beasts 1
  • Sensory Room
  • White
  • Worms
