Yesterday (10th May) children and parents from Havelock Children's Centre joined; Catalyst Housing, Ealing Parks Department, Local Councillors, Volunteers from Southall Transition and the Canal and Rivers Trust, to transform the unloved Bixley Triangle adjacent to Bixley Fiields on the Havelock Estate.
The children took part in sowing grass seed and planting trees. We plan for this project to be enhanced in the future with some of the children's creative work that can be installed at this site for the community to enjoy. It was a very wet day but a great opportunity for the community to come together.
